How to Use – Hello Screen (A12/A13)
Requirements
Device running the latest supported iOS version.
USBLITER8 (required for the Diags procedure).
Procedure
Connect the device to the tool and start the Hello service and follow steps showed in Tool.
The tool will automatically reboot the device into Recovery Mode and begin the DFU process.
The required serial number will be displayed.
Open USBLITER8 and use the Diags function to write the new serial number.
After the serial number has been successfully written, return to the tool and start the Hello service again.
Wait approximately 1 minute and 30 seconds for the activation process to complete.
Once the device reboots already activated, run the Hello service one more time to complete the final configuration.
The tool will automatically apply the OTA Skip and Erase Block configuration.
These final options can also be configured from the Settings menu inside the tool.
